ASK’s Broker, Sharon Hawthorne, is an Accredited Buyer Representative, who’s built her business primarily through buyer representation. She focuses on empowering her clients to make decisions concerning what is best for them rather than on selling anyone anything. She and agent associate Michele Cameron are committed to providing access to market data as well as to properties, so that when you find a home that seems promising you’re able to evaluate it objectively and to make an informed and well conceived offer.

ASK Realty offers first-time buyer rebates, ranging from as high as 20% of our commission on homes selling for $700,000 or more, to 10% for those selling for under $400,000, to a flat $500 rebate for purchases at under $250,000 on properties offering a customary buyer’s agent commission of 2.5% -3%.

New to Sonoma County?Need help determining which areas might suit you best? Sharon has lived in Sonoma County since 1972 and knows it well. She would be happy to arrange a get-to-know-Sonoma-County tour to introduce you to various communities and neighborhoods so that you can identify those that meet your criteria best and focus your search accordingly. But finding a property is just the beginning. Please go to How we Work with Buyers to learn more about the complete process and the support and assistance we offer every step of the way.

Confining your search to the internet for now? Any real estate broker or agent who subscribes to the Multiple Listing Service has access to the same information. The difference between search functions is generally in how much information is presented without need of contacting the provider and in what the user must do to gain access. However, no public site as of the date of this writing allows you to search by using MLS defined geographic areas such as local agents do. To offer this unique alternative Sharon formatted ASK’s searches to include AREA as an optional criterion. MLS Search and MLS Open Houses both offer access to all online MLS listings without restricting your geographic search by city names or zip codes. However, to use this function most effectively you’ll first need to review the MLS Search Tips and familiarize yourself with the Area Boundaries definitions.

Designing a well targeted but sufficiently inclusive search is challenging. If you’d like assistance just ask. Even if you’re just beginning to consider what you might like and prefer to continue exploring on your own, we’d be happy to speak with you, to have the opportunity for you to get to know us a bit, and to assist you in creating a relevant search of your own. Or we can create a highly personalized search for you which can be set to automatically send updates directly to you whenever a new listing or a change in an existing listing matching your criteria occurs.

Whatever your dream home -- whether you’re shopping for a foreclosure bargain or a green-built getaway with absolute privacy and fabulous views -- we look forward to the challenge and reward of serving you.

We aim to assist you in acquiring what you desire within your timeframe at a fair price.
